Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon of dried pennyroyal leaves or 1 fresh sprig
- 1 cup of water (about 250 ml)
- Optional: 1 teaspoon of natural honey
- Optional: A few drops of fresh lemon juice
Directions
- Pour the water into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil.
- Once the water starts boiling, remove it from the heat.
- Add the pennyroyal leaves to the hot water.
- Cover the cup or container and let it steep for 5–7 minutes.
- Strain the infusion to remove the leaves.
- If desired, add a little honey or a few drops of fresh lemon juice for a milder flavor.
This process allows the plant’s natural aromatic compounds to infuse into the water, creating a warm and fragrant herbal tea.
